Recommended trucks and Vans
For hauling, moving, and towing, these trucks and vans will always have your back. This is the one category where we can strongly say that newer isn't better. With diesel newer trucks are known to be far less reliable than older trucks. However, the power of a diesel is unbeatable to a gasoline truck; making this a hard competition.
F-150
The Miata is great chassis for almost every year. They all weigh next to nothing. They are rear wheel drive and have a real steering feel. Later models have increased features and don't need to shed any extra weight. From 1990 to 2025 this is a go to car.

RAM 1500
The fastest car in terms of modern off the line cars that isn't a Porsche goes to this BMW right here. This car weighs a few hundred pounds less than the competition and has an extremely robust upgraded version of BMW's famous B58 and N55 motor depending on year. Both generations F87 and G87 are recommended cars. However, their biggest downfall is a notable lack of feeling in the steering wheel.

Chevrolet Silverado
The mustang has been and always will be a top car in America. However I've slimmed down the years to between 2011-Now due to the motor. If you're buying a mustang shell out the extra cash for the 5.0. This motor is legendary and extremely capable. It is very powerful and shouldn't be taken lightly.

Mercedes Van
It's not the most powerful, it's not the fastest, but it is the best for one reason. All Wheel Drive. Yes, other cars that are equal competitors have AWD, but none will come with a 6-speed and that low-down Subaru motor. (Besides Porsche). It also will remain on the list because it was one of the last car that retained hydraulic power steering. What it lacks in power it does have tenfold in drivability due to the all wheel drive system. Earlier model years are known to be way better but have rust issues sadly.
