Sports cars are a broad subject because they cover more years than we would recommend for any other categories. Some of the best sports cars actually came out in the 1980's and 1990's. Although they lack in power they have some seriously low weights. This immensely helps handling and braking and if you're a beginner this is easily more important than power.
